Current work and favorite topics/research areas:
I currently teach Hungarian and international dietetics students at the University of PécsFaculty of Health Sciences. What I love most about my work is that I not only teach, but also learn from my students. I enjoy practical classes where we get to brainstorm, try things out, and think both creatively and collaboratively. Additionally, I am pursuing my doctoral studies, examining the eating habits and attitudes of young children and their parents, since what we learn early in life influences us for a lifetime. I am also interested in consumer trends related to nutrition, marketing strategies, and the impact of social media. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the world of gastronomy. For me, proper, balanced, and healthy nutrition is not just about meeting a need—it’s also about enjoyment, and pleasure.

How I can help / My areas of expertise within the program:
Through dietetic counseling, I can help you develop healthy eating habits and support lifestyle changes, especially if you feel stuck or struggle to break unhealthy eating patterns. I can also provide inspiration, recipes, or reassurance that you are on the right track. My goal is simple: to make sure that good nutrition doesn’t feel like another assignment on your to-do list, but instead becomes the fuel that powers your energy, focus, and memory.

A few personal details:
I graduated as a dietitian in 2015 and started working in a clinical setting, where I loved working with patients and found it rewarding to manage the dietary treatment of patients with different internal medicine conditions. During this time, I also completed a master’s degree in nutrition science. Later, I chose an academic career at the university. While I enjoyed working in the clinic, collaborating with students has been equally fulfilling and motivating, inspiring me to further expand my professional knowledge. That motivation is why I began my doctoral studies and also completed training in sports dietetics. I genuinely enjoy professional challenges, and I find creative, inspiring tasks the most rewarding.

Key message / Why I joined the YourLife program:
Everyone thinks they know about nutrition, but I believe there is much more to it. Developing and maintaining healthy habits can sometimes be difficult alone, but with the guidance of a professional, it becomes manageable. Sometimes, you need someone to take you by the hand and guide you—whether it’s a diet, a specific goal, or an entire lifestyle. I joined the YourLife program because I believe it provides an excellent opportunity to support students in achieving their goals with my professional expertise.
